West Bengal NEET Counselling 2026 is conducted by WBMCC (West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee) under the Health and Family Welfare Department for MBBS and BDS admission in West Bengal for the academic session 2026-27. Students who have qualified NEET UG and are domicile of West Bengal can apply for state quota seats. West Bengal has around 4,750 MBBS and 1,155 BDS seats across government and private colleges. What is West Bengal NEET Counselling?

West Bengal NEET Counselling 2026 is the centralised seat allotment process for MBBS and BDS admissions under the 85% state quota in West Bengal. It is conducted by WBMCC. Candidates who qualify NEET UG 2026 and hold a valid WB domicile can register. Separately, candidates may also participate in MCC counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats. Calcutta Medical College (CMC) is among India’s most prestigious and competitive government medical colleges.

West Bengal NEET Counselling 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

  • NEET UG Qualification: Must have qualified NEET UG 2026.
  • WB Domicile: West Bengal domicile certificate is mandatory for 85% state quota seats.
  • Age: At least 17 years old as on December 31, 2026.
  • Academic Qualification: Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology with minimum 50% marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC).
